Expo preview: Bus Stop’s strong line-up
The Bus Stop Sales stand at this year’s Expo will include the launch of an all-new electric 12-metre low floor bus to excite the market

For all of Bus Stop Sales’ varied product range that’ll be on display at the Expo, there’ll still be a noticeable star of the show. Alongside trusted vehicles from both King Long and I-BUS (powered by Isuzu) will be a zero-emissions model dominating attention on the brand’s stand.
“The centrepiece is the all-new King Long EVolution city bus – a redesigned 12-metre low-floor electric bus that we believe sets a new benchmark for value and quality in the Australian market,” Bus Stop Sales managing director Pete White told ABC.
“Alongside it we’ll have our nine-metre low-floor EV and updated mid-sized diesel bus on display. On the I-BUS side, we’re showcasing Australia’s best-selling 30+ seat mini bus – offering the most seats available on an LR licence at 32 including the driver.
“Visitors will also get a look at King Long’s redesigned standard seating, which is both innovative and a new customer favourite.”
The King Long EVolution will be the headline as the Expo will be the first time the model has been seen in Australia. White says he’s “really confident” the brand new bus will turn heads at its first major public showing in Australia. Supporting the unveiling will be King Long’s componentry focus as the brand’s proprietary seating demands a close look from operators.
“We’re looking forward to conversations with operators and decision-makers across the full spectrum — from metro fleets looking at electrification through to charter and community transport operators who need the most capable mini bus on an LR licence,” he says.
